Edith Nesbit
London, 15 août 1858 - Dymchurch,
Kent, 4 mai 1924, Angleterre. Le nom d’Edith
Nesbit (Mrs Hubert BLAND) restera à jamais associé à la
littérature pour la jeunesse. Le succès mérité de ses
Railway Children (1906) a éclipsé une œuvre plus
variée, constituée notamment d’une vingtaine d’excellents
contes fantastiques regroupés dans Something Wrong
(1893), Grim Tales (1893) et Fear (1910).
La bibliographie est ordonnée par ordre chronologique
de parution. Toutes les nouvelles sont fantastiques sauf
mention contraire.
